How it Began……Our story began in the late 1960’s, when founder and owner Sean Murray, who  had previously worked as manager for Cash’s in the Corner House in Skibbereen, decided to go into business and opened a new shop at 5, Main Street, Skibbereen.  Sean together with his wife Betsy, provided a new shopping experience to the people of West Cork, supplying clothes for men, women and children of all ages.

The business grew steadily over the following years, and in 1980 it expanded up into the first floor with new ladies’ and household departments which allowed the menswear and suit-hire departments expand to cover the entire ground floor. The business underwent a number of renovations over the years, ensuring that the store is always bright, fresh, modern and up-to-date. Over time, Sean and Betsy retired and left the business in the capable hands of  their son Sean and his wife Maria who, together with dedicated staff are passionately committed to providing customers with genuine and honest customer service.
